We are not having a ceremony in the same place as the reception. We decided we wanted to have our ceremony in a space that was meaningful for us and more intimate: Left Bank Books. Unfortunately, the bookstore is not large enough to accommodate everyone that we would like to celebrate the occasion with, but we look forward to spending quality time with everyone at the reception and the other events this weekend.

18Rails is located in the City Foundary and has several spots to make parking easy: Multi-Level Garage: Located on the north side of the property, off Forest Park Parkway. West Lot: Near the Vandeventer Avenue entrance. Spring Street Lot: On the southeastern side of the property, just west of Spring Street. Street Parking: Along Forest Park Avenue outside the garage.

Our reception attire is "Formal", meaning any fancy clothes that make you feel good! Tuxes and long dresses are totally fine if that's what makes you happy, but just know the groom will be wearing a colored suit!

Nope, none of those things and they've never really even been considered.

Saint Louis is where we first met and where David is from and so it holds a special place in our hearts. We also have friends and family from all parts of our lives that are all across the US (including Saint Louis). STL is pretty central and fairly easy to get to. Also its cheaper to have a wedding in Saint Louis than Chicago!
